JOSÉ RAMÓN REYES
José Ramón Reyes is a founding partner at The Custom Project. Prior to TCP, José Ramón was the founder and creative director of RÉYES, a women’s wear brand known for it’s intricate detailing, fine tailoring and an American sportswear sensibility. The New York based line was launched in 2001 and distributed at Saks Fifth Avenue, Barney’s New York, Nordstrom, Intermix, Harvey Nichols and Holt Renfrew to name a few.
In 2008, José Ramón won the prestigious Ecco Domani award. He was also a semi-finalist in the CFDA/Vogue fashion fund award.
Prior to RÉYES, José Ramón managed the Public Relations and Marketing for Richard Tyler where he was responsible for the communications and positioning of all product categories including the ready-to-wear and accessories lines. He also worked at Chanel, in Marketing and Sales, supervising all aspects of market research and trend forecasting for ready-to-wear. Additionally, he created and implemented branding strategies at Onward Kashiyama, a multi-brand showroom and distributor, for brands such as Helmut Lang and Jean Paul Gaultier.
Born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Jose Ramon now resides in New York City.
FERNANDA DOMIT
Fernanda Domit is a founding partner at The Custom Project. Prior to TCP, Fernanda was the Creative Director of DNAxy , a resort inspired lounge wear line sold at high end resort destinations all around the world.
Before DNAXy , Fernanda consulted on different creative projects, including styling and writing fashion articles for magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour and Elle among others.
After living in Paris in the early Nineties and being exposed to Parisian fashion and lifestyle, Fernanda decided that Fashion was a field that she wanted to pursue as a career.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Fernanda now resides in Miami, Florida.
